Maisha Baton -- poet, playwright and historian. Born in Pennsylvania and currently residing in Albuquerque, NM. She received her masters degree in existential psychology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA and her doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She has taught numerous courses on the black experience at the University of Pittsburgh and at the University of New Mexico. more...
